Tow-type chipspreaders (3657mm spreading pattern)
Complete with center hitch, truck hitch, three blanking off plates and a swivel type operator’s handle to engage center hitch to truck hitch.
Operation
– Ballast boxes at front of spreader maintain balance, self-filling, sliding bottom door permits dumping of ballast on completion of job.
– Large 139.7mm dia feedroller grooved with left and right spirals to insure positive feed.
– Two balance wheels placed ahead of traction tyres to prevent tipping forward or backward when not attached to truck.
– Folding operator’s platform on each end of spreader.
– Adjustable feedgate levers mounted both ends of spreader to permit tapered spreads. Feedgate follows a true arc when opening or closing. Does not lift against weight of material in hopper. Eliminates wasteful free flow of material.
– Hopper constructed of 4.8mm steel plate. Capacity 1.15m³.
– Single shift lever with forward, neutral and reverse positions. Controls agitator and feed roller.
– Shifts automatically to neutral in case of shifting error.
